ENGO Launches Titanium AR Sports Glasses Weighing 28.9g Also Claims a 24-Hour Battery Life

ENGO has launched engo3 Titanium, a limited-edition pair of augmented reality sports glasses designed to display live training data while weighing just 28.9 grams.

The Grenoble-based company says the glasses offer more than 24 hours of battery life per charge. Their design combines a colour heads-up display with 3D-printed titanium temples manufactured in France using a process inspired by aeronautical design.

ENGO describes Titanium as its lightest AR running glasses to date. The company’s approach centres on reducing weight and power consumption, leaving out cameras, microphones, speakers and AI features to prioritise the display, battery life and comfort.

The glasses use ActiveLook Light AR technology to show performance information within the wearer’s field of vision. Users can customise the display through a companion app, choosing from more than 40 metrics, including heart rate, pace and cadence.

Widgets also support structured sessions such as interval training, allowing runners and cyclists to monitor workout targets without repeatedly looking down at a watch or cycling computer.

The high-brightness colour OLED display is designed to remain readable in direct sunlight, according to ENGO. Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity supports Garmin and other compatible devices through the ActiveLook ecosystem, while a double-tap sensor provides navigation controls.

The titanium temples can be adjusted horizontally and vertically, and an adjustable nosebridge helps users tailor the fit. Both standard and adaptive photochromic lens options are available.

Éric Marcellin-Dibon, co-founder of ENGO Eyewear, said: “With engo Titanium we redefine what it means to wear performance glasses. Our design is so light and seamless that athletes forget they’re even there while still delivering the most relevant data, anticipating their needs, and keeping them fully focused. For an endurance athlete or road cyclist, we believe that means the right information in your field of view, exceptional comfort and enough battery life to forget about the technology altogether.”

The launch extends ENGO’s focus on sports-specific augmented reality, with a feature set built around displaying training information rather than broader communication or entertainment functions.

Made and assembled in France, engo3 Titanium is available as a limited edition exclusively through ENGO’s website. UK pricing is £489.95 for the classic version and £549.95 for the photochromic version. The launch announcement lists Azure, Silver and Shift variants.

Weight, battery life and display visibility figures are manufacturer claims.

Founded in Grenoble by Éric Marcellin-Dibon and Fabrice Berger Duquene, ENGO Eyewear was born from a simple idea: to help athletes train smarter, without losing focus with the support of smart glasses.

Based in the heart of the French Alps, the team brings together engineers and passionate athletes around a clear mission: to revolutionize the experience of exercise through augmented reality.

ENGO relies on CES-awarded technology, which powers its heads-up display glasses and paves the way for new uses for compact augmented reality. More than a brand, ENGO embodies the union of performance, simplicity, and innovation.
