Siemens Healthineers has announced the appointment of Guilherme Marques as Managing Director for Great Britain and Ireland, bringing more than 25 years of dedicated international healthcare leadership to the region.
Marques steps into the position to succeed Ghada Trotabas, who has led Siemens Healthineers GB&I since 2022 and now moves into a global role as Head of Enterprise Services. Marques joins the European leadership team led by Sonja Wehsely.
Throughout his extensive career, Marques has focused heavily on strengthening partnerships with healthcare providers, fostering talent, and advancing diagnostic and imaging capabilities. Most recently, he led global commercial lab solutions, managing an international team of over 2,000 colleagues supporting operations across multiple continents. His past leadership roles also include serving as President of Siemens Healthineers in Latin America and spearheading regional ultrasound, X-ray, and diagnostic imaging portfolios.

Trotabas will transition into her new global position succeeding João Seabra, reporting to Elisabeth Staudinger, Managing Board Member of Siemens Healthineers.
