Step behind the velvet curtain for an evening of candlelight, masked figures, haunting melodies and theatrical dining at the iconic West End restaurant
[London, October 2026] This Halloween, The Ivy West Street is inviting guests to step behind the velvet curtain for Midnight Masquerade, an exclusive one-night-only dining experience where elegance meets the eerie.
Taking inspiration from the mystery and drama of the West End, the iconic restaurant will transform for an after-dark masquerade of candlelight, masked figures, haunting melodies and theatrical surprises, unfolding from 9.30pm until 1am on Saturday, 31 October.
For £100 per person, guests will enjoy an exclusive three-course set menu created for the occasion, beginning with a selection of pre-starter nibbles including Lobster Cornet with avocado mousse and Greek cress, alongside a Galette of Potatoes with beef tartare, truffle aioli and black truffle.

To start, guests can choose from dishes including Black Truffle Cheese Soufflé, twice-baked and finished with gratinated cheese, winter truffle and chives; The Ivy Classic Crispy Duck Salad with roasted cashew nuts, sesame, watermelon, ginger and hoisin sauce; or Traditionally Oak Smoked Salmon, served with horseradish crème fraîche, pickled beetroot, dill oil and dark rye bread.
Main courses include Roasted Venison Loin with golden beetroot, parsnip purée, blackberries, crispy parsnips and juniper sauce; Pan-Fried Monkfish Tail with steamed mussels, buttered spinach, red pepper and a saffron-infused shellfish velouté; and a vegetarian Pumpkin, Wild Mushroom & Truffle Pithivier, served with roasted pumpkin, celeriac, spinach, wild mushroom duxelles and black truffle sauce.
The evening culminates in the aptly named Midnight Masquerade, a dark chocolate torte with pistachio feuillentine, raspberry and rose petals, dramatically presented beneath a smoke-filled cloche alongside a masquerade mask and red rose. Guests can also choose from Pumpkin Crème Brûlée with pumpkin and white chocolate ganache, or Fig and Pistachio Feuilleté with hazelnut financier, crispy pastry, yoghurt sorbet and cream.
