Property organisations and professionals across the North West have been named as finalists for the 2026 Variety North West PROPs Awards, with 15 shortlisted this year.
The winners of four categories, from the Funder of the Year to the Rising Star award, will be announced during a special awards evening taking place at the Manchester Deansgate Hotel on Thursday, November 12.
The ceremony will offer the chance for the North West’s property professionals to celebrate the sector’s outstanding achievements and successes as well as raising funds for disabled and disadvantaged children in the North West.
Last year’s ceremony raised more than £400,000, funding six Variety Sunshine Coaches to support children and young people across the North West.
Lyn Staunton, Variety development director, said:
“After a thorough judging process, we’re proud to reveal this year’s shortlist, which reflects the strength and range of expertise across the North West property industry.
“We’re looking forward to bringing the industry together once again in November to celebrate these achievements and raise vital funds for disabled and disadvantaged children across the region.”
This event aims to help fund more wheelchairs, Sunshine Coaches, days out and specialist equipment in the North West.

About Variety, the Children’s Charity: variety.org.uk
Part of a worldwide charity, Variety, the Children’s Charity, was formed in the UK in 1949. Since then, it has raised more than £300 million to help children and young people throughout the country who are disabled or disadvantaged.
The charity’s famous Variety Sunshine Coaches help children at special needs schools and other organisations to experience the wider world and engage with their local community.
The Variety Wheelchair Programme provides so much more than mobility. These wheelchairs bring much-cherished independence, freedom and dignity and enable children to take a more inclusive part in activities with friends and family and at school.
Every year, many thousands of disadvantaged children are taken on Variety Great Days Out, providing them with lasting memories of happy childhood times.
Variety also provides specialist in-home equipment to assist children and young people in an extremely wide range of ways, from bath hoists to sensory toys.
Variety, the Children’s Charity, is registered in England and Wales (No 209259) and in Scotland (No SC038505).
