December 2025, UK: Natalie Trice Publicity has announced a new client partnership with British portrait artist Caroline de Peyrecave, whose technically accomplished oil and charcoal portraits explore identity, resilience, and what changes when a woman is truly seen, not just visible.
Caroline de Peyrecave holds a BA in Fine Arts, trained at the Charles Cecil Atelier in Florence, is a member of the Society of Women Artists, and has participated in Sky Portrait Artist of the Year 2023, where she painted Jay Rayner.
Working from her studio in Surrey, she blends her classical training with a contemporary, emotionally attuned approach. Painting and drawing from life using the sight size technique, Caroline creates portraits that move beyond likeness to presence, depth, and psychological nuance, one of the most recent being General Dame Sharon Nesmith DCB ADC.
Caroline is currently developing a major show planned for March 2026 in London, which will act as a focal point of the PR activity. Empowering Her will celebrate women who have impacted British culture and pushed through barriers to become visible role models in a still unequal world. By bringing to light the stories of women who have overcome barriers and defied expectations, the project aims to inspire others to push forward in their own lives.
Caroline said: “My work has evolved over the years and it’s no longer just a painting to hang on the wall, but a legacy of what happens when a woman is truly seen. When someone sits for a portrait and realises it will outlast them, there’s a quiet, emotional shift in the room, reflection, and a sense that their whole story, not just the headline, is finally being honoured. I’m not interested in only painting what these women are known for; I want to paint the whole story that sits behind that, the parts the public never sees, and that is where Natalie and her team come into play.”
Alongside her studio practice, she is developing a workshop programme for next year that will explore connection, creativity, and what shifts when people are given space to be properly seen, aligning with a growing appetite for slower, more human forms of self-expression and wellbeing-focused creativity.
Natalie Trice, founder of Natalie Trice Publicity, added: “Caroline’s work is rooted in the belief, expressed by Marian Wright Edelman, that ‘you can’t be what you can’t see’, a principle that runs through our approach to publicity. Her work doesn’t just capture how someone looks in a moment; it honours who they are and the legacy they leave behind. That’s why this matters. We are proud to amplify the message that women deserve to be truly seen, and that their stories and her work matter.”
Caroline is accepting portrait commissions in both charcoal and oil, with adult head-and-shoulders oil portraits starting at £10,000.
