CarMoney has launched a new business to its growing UK network of car dealers, covering Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

The franchise business is headed by Martin Fisher, who will manage the CarMoney franchise to help car dealers throughout the area access lenders and utilise the latest technology.

Martin has built strong relationships over the past 16 years in the automotive sector. He began his career with eight years at Autotrader as an advertising manager before moving to Close Brothers Motor Finance, where he spent a further eight years as a key account manager working across East Anglia, London and the South Coast. With deep local knowledge and longstanding dealer relationships, he is well placed to establish CarMoney in the region.

Based in Ampthill, Martin has plans to grow his business and build a team of finance professionals. His focus will be on engaging with local dealers, strengthening existing relationships, and establishing new ones.

Explaining his decision to launch his own business, Martin Fisher, said: “I am excited to be starting this journey with CarMoney. This is a substantial patch, but one I am familiar with, having covered it extensively over the past 16 years. In that time, I’ve created strong relationships with dealers here, and I’m looking forward to building on those foundations.

“A key reason for me joining CarMoney is the access to a panel of lenders that I see as a major differentiator in the market. Dealers want a service that is responsive, consistent and transparent. With CarMoney, I can deliver that with the backing of a national brand but still provide the local service that dealers value most.”

Dealers across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire now benefit from CarMoney’s extensive panel of more than 20 lenders, along with instant credit banding and soft search technology that leaves credit scores unaffected. The platform also integrates seamlessly with AutoConvert, Codeweavers, and iVendi, making it easier for dealers to provide quicker and fairer finance solutions to a wider range of customers.

Wendy Taylor, franchise director at CarMoney, added: “We are pleased to welcome Martin to the CarMoney network. His experience, reputation and proven track record in dealer finance make him an ideal fit for our business. He understands the challenges dealers face and shares our commitment to providing clear, responsive and transparent service. Martin is already seeing an overwhelmingly positive response from dealers in his area, and we are excited to support him as he grows the business.”

Backed by the Peter Vardy Group, CarMoney aims to achieve £730 million in annual vehicle finance by 2029, growing organically and through its expanding UK franchise network.

Backed by the Peter Vardy Group, CarMoney’s flexible, customer-focused model spans cars, motorbikes, light commercial vehicles (LCVs), and motorhomes, with finance options available for everyone, from prime to sub-prime borrowers. Franchisees benefit from exclusive territories, scalable investment options, and the backing of a trusted brand.
