Delivering home care services throughout North Wales since 2015, Home Instead North Wales has had a good reason to further celebrate their 10th Birthday. A recent Care Inspectorate Wales (Wales independent regulator) inspection of home care services rated ‘Excellent’ in all three sections of their grading: Care & Support, Well-being and Leadership. In addition to this, Home Instead North Wales and Home Instead Wrexham & Flintshire have been awarded the accolade of being a ‘5 Star Employer’ through national surveyors, Workbuzz.
During the inspection, CIW recognised the service’s strong commitment to personalised, person-centred care.
Inspectors highlighted that:
• “Home Instead work closely with people and their families delivering person-centred care to help people achieve their desired emotional, mental, and physical well-being outcomes.”
• “People have strong relationships with the care staff, and care packages are tailored to meet people’s needs and preferences.”
• “The service is proactive and collaborates with external agencies to ensure the people they care for have additional opportunities to improve their lives.”
• “People receive excellent, consistent care from a workforce that is well supported by the management team and receive robust training at induction.”
Franchise Owners Matthew and Samantha Murray-James expressed their pride in the outcome. Additionally, Home Instead North Wales and our office in Wrexham & Flintshire, both received a 5- star employer award after results came in from the Workbuzz Annual Survey. The annual review is a chance for care professionals, the office team and clients to share their thoughts about the company; what we do well and how we can make the experience even better.
