Boutique businesses secures place in TechRound’s inaugural PR54 rankings following a string of 2026 industry awards
Independent UK public relations agency Tim Reid Media (TRM) has been named among the top 50 PR teams working with technology startups and businesses around the world.
The boutique business has secured a place in TechRound’s inaugural PR54 rankings, recognising 54 PR agencies helping technology companies to build their reputations, reach new audiences and grow their businesses.
The international recognition follows a successful year for TRM, including accolades at the CIPR Excellence Awards, PRmoment Awards and Indie Awards.
Tim Reid, founder and director of TRM, said: “We’re absolutely delighted. To be recognised alongside agencies from around the world, many of them considerably larger than us, is a fantastic achievement and a real endorsement of the work we do for our clients.
“Our first client when we launched six years ago was a technology business, and they’re still with us today. Since then, we’ve worked with companies at the forefront of AI, cybersecurity, enterprise software, business intelligence, spacetech, critical minerals and other emerging technologies.
“The challenge is rarely just getting a company’s name into the media. It’s understanding what makes its technology important, finding the story that matters to the wider world and making sure that story reaches the right people.
“We’ve always believed that being a small, independent agency is a strength because we can give each campaign the attention it deserves. It’s particularly rewarding to see that approach recognised against international agencies.”
TRM’s technology clients include FourNet, a customer experience and AI transformation partner; DesignVerse, whose AI-based system builds complex enterprise software using organisations’ own documentation and internal rules; and Veridion, a business intelligence company whose technology helps organisations understand markets, suppliers and commercial risks.
The agency also works with The Estate Registry, helping to raise awareness of technology and services that support families dealing with bereavement and estate administration.
TechRound’s PR54 was launched to recognise the communications professionals and agencies championing startups and growing businesses around the world. Entries were assessed by a panel of industry judges, with particular attention paid to the impact of campaigns and the results achieved for clients.
Danny Sullivan, founder and CEO of Nomada Digital and one of the judges, said: “The entries that stood out did the work for the judge – what the business needed, what the agency did and what changed as a result.”
Another judge, Micayla de Fleuriot, Marketing and Partnerships at TechRound, said the strongest entries combined “clear thinking, specialist knowledge and human storytelling.”
TRM’s latest recognition follows success at the 2026 CIPR Excellence Awards, where it won the Social Purpose category for the Chinook Justice Campaign, alongside recognition for Pro Bono Campaign of the year at the PRmoment and the Public Good category at the Indie Awards.
