No One Puts Cornwall Businesses In The Corner

On Thursday 8th October, Cornwall Business Show 2026 will bring together the people, ideas and opportunities driving business across the county when it returns to the Royal Cornwall Events Centre in Wadebridge.

Cornwall might be at the very tip of the UK but this event is a chance for the business community to step away from screens, meet face to face and discover where new conversations could lead.

At a time when so much work is done online, the Cornwall Business Show is putting real world connection firmly back on the agenda.

Gavin Harris of Cornwall Business Show, comments: “Business can feel isolating, particularly when you are building something yourself, so events like this remind people that they are part of a much bigger community, and sometimes all it takes is one conversation to change what happens next.”

According to the latest research from the Events Industry Alliance, UK exhibitions generated £11.7 billion in total economic output in 2025 and supported more than 127,000 jobs*.

Gavin believes that the South West should be part of that power. He says: “The figures from the Events Industry Alliance are proof that exhibitions work but they aren’t just about what happens at the time.. They create ideas, support jobs and open doors to new opportunities, and we are incredibly proud to be playing our part in that here in the South West.”

Alongside the exhibition and networking, visitors will hear practical insights from experts across finance, law, marketing, sales, personal development, sustainability and cybersecurity.

The seminar programme will be hosted by Jason Ratcliffe from TEDx Truro, with Affinity Digital sponsoring this year’s event.

Gavin concludes: “You might come looking for a supplier and leave having met your next customer, collaborator or strategic partner. A seminar could change how you approach your business, or a conversation could inspire you to finally go after an idea or opportunity you have been thinking about for months. We are here for all of it and hope this will once again  strengthen the relationships that help Cornwall’s business community grow.”
