Variety, the Children’s Charity, officially launches The North West PROPS Awards 2026

VARIETY, the Children’s Charity, is proud to announce the official launch of the North West PROPS Awards 2026.

Following the monumental success of previous years, the prestigious event will return to The Manchester Deansgate Hotel on Thursday, November 12th 2026 to celebrate the region’s thriving property sector.

Entering its fourth year in the North West, the PROPS Awards have become a staple in the property industry calendar. The event celebrates outstanding achievements in property while raising vital funds for disabled and disadvantaged children and young people across the region.

Last year’s ceremony, hosted by England rugby international and actor Martin Bayfield, raised more than £400,000, which funded six Variety Sunshine Coaches.

Lyn Staunton, Development Director for Variety, said: “The North West PROPS are a fantastic celebration of excellence in the property industry, but they also help us change the lives of children across the region.

“We are officially launching the 2026 awards with an even greater ambition to support those youngsters who need it most.

“In 2025, the property community showed incredible heart by raising more than £400,000. For 2026, we are calling on both our long-standing supporters and new partners to help us top that total.

“Every pound secured translates directly into essential resources like our Sunshine Coaches. We look forward to seeing the industry come together once again for what promises to be an inspiring and emotionally rewarding evening.”

The 2026 awards will highlight excellence across various categories, including:

  • Funder of the Year

  • Developer of the Year

  • Entrepreneur of the Year

  • The Rising Star Award

Previous winners include industry heavyweights such as CBRE North West Office Agency Team, Shoosmiths, Stamford Finance, as well as Stephen Ashworth of Hurstwood Holdings and Will Ainscough of Wain Group, who both received a Special Recognition Award.

The event is overseen by an influential North West PROPS Board, which includes Debra Cooper (Hill Dickinson) George Downing (Downing), Marc Goldberg (Together), Mark Hawthorn (Landmark Group) and Richard Ainscough (Network Space).
