As Singapore’s tech, banking and professional services sectors undergo continued restructuring, leaving thousands facing redundancy and uncertainty, a neuroscience-led coaching expert is launching a new programme to help professionals regain clarity, confidence and control over their next career moves.
Sonia Ouarti, a neuroscience-led performance expert, is hosting a free one-off workshop in Singapore, sponsored by Google Cloud, designed to help high-performing individuals navigate pressure, reset their thinking, and unlock sustainable performance.
Nearly 20,000 jobs were cut across multiple sectors in Singapore in 2025, including tech, financial services, real estate and professional services, with restructuring increasingly linked to AI, cost pressures and business transformation, not just economic slowdown.
Firms are expected to stay cautious in hiring and wage growth in 2026, according to analysts, reflecting ongoing uncertainty.
Drawing on a Master’s in Psychology and Neuroscience from King’s College London and more than 20 years’ experience across tech, marketing and coaching, Ouarti’s work blends science with practical tools to deliver lasting behavioural change.
Her coaching focuses on helping individuals understand how their brains respond to stress, decision-making, and pressure, enabling them to move from reactive patterns to intentional leadership.
The Singapore session will offer a small, highly focused group experience, combining neuroscience insights with practical exercises to help participants:
- regain clarity and direction
- manage stress and cognitive overload
- build resilience without burnout
- reconnect with personal and professional purpose
Ouarti said: “Most high performers aren’t lacking capability, they’re operating in constant noise. When you understand how your brain actually works, you can step out of survival mode and start making clear, confident decisions again.
“Here in Singapore, people in various sectors are facing the same issue – uncertainty about what to do next. By considering your brain and your performance, and looking after it, we can help those people into their next chapter.”
Unlike traditional coaching or motivational sessions, ‘Finding Your Centre’ is grounded in evidence-based neuroscience and designed for immediate, real-world application.
Ouarti has worked with more than 1,000 clients globally, including Amazon, Sony, IBM, supporting leaders, founders and professionals to achieve measurable, lasting transformation and recently hosted a session at Google’s London HQ.
Places for the Singapore session are strictly limited to ensure an intimate, high-impact experience. It takes place on Thursday 23 April 2026 – 8:30am – 12:00pm SGT.
