Serial investor, entrepreneur and property expert Reece Mennie is celebrating double success with both of his property businesses having been shortlisted for prestigious National LIS Awards.
Considered among the top property awards in the UK, the recently-announced shortlists revealed Hunter Jones Group as a contender for Best Alternative Investment Property Provider, while HJ Collection is in the running for the Property Developer of the Year category.
Hunter Jones Group, founded by Reece in 2013, is one of the leading consultancies supporting investors from the UK and overseas to build, maximise or diversify their portfolios through structured investments and property acquisitions. The business recently celebrated its 10th anniversary, raising more than £300million in that time in well-structured property bonds to fund the development of more than 6,500 residential units.
HJ Collection, established in 2019, aims to provide sustainable, efficient and affordable living accommodation by redeveloping unloved and unused sites in key towns and cities. The company has quickly become a leading property developer, having established a GDV of over £100million and brought back to life developments up and down the country.
Commenting on the double shortlisting, Reece said: “It’s fantastic that the judges have recognised the impressive achievements of the teams from both Hunter Jones Group and HJ Collection. Both companies being shortlisted highlights how much of an impact we’ve been able to have within the industry from the development and investment perspectives.
“I’d like to thank our growing teams from Hunter Jones Group and HJ Collection for their continued efforts to expand the companies, increase the number of investors and developers we are able to support, and cement both companies’ places at the forefront of the property sector in the UK. We’re very much looking forward to seeing the winners revealed at the upcoming awards ceremony.”
The winners of the National LIS Awards 2025 will be revealed at a ceremony in London on Thursday 13th November.
