The Operational Research (OR) Society has launched Data Science Connects, its first dedicated community for data science professionals. This new, connected community brings together those who use data to solve real-world problems, enabling them to share ideas, develop their skills, and explore innovative ways to apply data in their work.
Data Science Connects is for data scientists, analysts, and decision-makers who want to push boundaries in sectors as wide ranging as healthcare, transport, energy and finance. The community is open to newcomers and experienced professionals, and gives members access to exclusive events, skills training, and resources to stay current, sharpen their skills, and develop their careers.
Members will benefit from opportunities for collaboration, mentoring, cross-sector networking, and professional development, and gain insights into the latest tools, trends, and techniques in data science, artificial intelligence, analytics, and decision science.
At its heart, Data Science Connects aims to drive progress through shared knowledge, practical learning, and open conversation. Bridging the gap between theory and application, it supports individuals and teams with expert-led content, active networks, and career building opportunities that enhance both credibility and visibility.
Key Benefits of Joining Data Science Connects:
